Custom seating solution for Telstra CIC Theatre

As Maxwood Technology, in partnership with Kotobuki, we understand that no two spaces are the same! We pride ourselves on working with clients to fully understand their project requirements, then by matching the perfect seating solution we ensure all design, aesthetic and most importantly functionality requirements are achieved.

This was never more evident than our recent fit out of the new Telstra CIC Theatre in Telstra's Sydney headquarters.

Understanding Telstra's commitment to technology, their high standard of excellence and strong focus on brand, it was important our seating solution not only complimented this state of the art theatre but formed an integral part of its function and aesthetic.

Working closely with both the builders Lend Lease and the client, we sourced fabrics that accurately matched their new corporate colours to ensure our seats contributed to the client's "branding" within the theatre.

In this age of connectivity, USB power ports were an integral part of the theatre seating brief. To achieve this, we successfully customised each Kotobuki TSG 712 Theatre chair to incorporate twin port USB 3.0 power hubs.

With over 15 years’ experience in seating and staging solutions, our Sales and Marketing Manager Nina Lindahl is confident this style of solution will become more and more relevant in the coming years.

"In this age of mobile connectivity, we believe USB power devices will become more and more important as part of design, specifically with public space furniture.

Working with our client to customise this solution was a win win for all involved and showcases Maxwood’s ability to innovate and achieve the perfect seating solution."
